It’s just a 2 minute paddle to the expansive 6,000 acre Newnans Lake. You may rent a boat, canoe, or kayak for $15.00 for a half day, a boat with motor is $35.00 for a half day , or just fish from the bank. |

Kate's Fish Camp is an Old-time Fish camp that presents adventure; Boats, Canoes, Kayaks...Fishing, Camping, Birding, Trail entrance, with more than enough parking . Boat launch, and enough room to facilitate Outdoor Events! Located at the cross-roads, of Prairie Creek, State Road 20, and The Gainesville to Hawthorne Trail. Surrounded by miles of conservation land, You may come and just relax by the water and let your thoughts wonder, or catch your breath to finish your trail trek. You can rent a canoe or top water kayaks’ ($ 15.00 half day), and enjoy scenic Prairie Creek or Majestic Newnan’s Lake, or cast a line in and try your luck at fishing….Kate’s offers boats and motor rentals of $ 35.00 half day. Kate’s is open from daylight until dark, everyday.
