Explore Newnan’s Lake and the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail
Kate’s Fish Camp is more than just a place to park your RV, it is an exclusive campground completely surrounded by extraordinary wilderness with many trails to explore. Our campground is directly connected to the Gainesville-Hawthorne State Bike Trail with a map located here and Kates Fish Camp has total access to Newnan’s Lake. Fishing information is available on Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s website. All of our sites are “pull-through sites,” and each comes with electricity (30, 50, and 20 amp), water, and Gigablast high-speed Wi-Fi. Kate’s Fish Camp does not offer sewage hookups because of the surrounding land’s recognized natural, ecological and cultural values. All campers must be self-contained, and only RV camping is available, although we offer a guest restroom and a shower for your use.

I see you don’t have a dump station. Do you know if there is a “honey wagon” service in the area? Do you have a bath house?
There is a dump station about 10 minutes away in Hawthorne at the Love Truck Stop. We do have a guest restroom and shower, so you have to be self-contained. We do, however, offer water, electricity (30,50 amp), and ultra-high speed wi-fi.
Toilet & shower available. Loves truck stop has dump station. Here in 2022. Nice camp especially for fishing.
